Afternoon

The sun pours
Scattering coins on the shadow splashed floor.

Words halt
At a drowsy semicolon,
And balcony slowly closes eyes
On her favourite easy-chair.

The noon grows wings;
Chases day dreams.

This is why I love poetry !!!

This page has some of the most brilliant pieses of verses I have read in a long long time....aur tumhari hindi kavitayo ka swaad ananya hai - nirala hai !!!

'Amrapali' - 'kavita'...these are masterpieces Prapti !!! Awesome !!

Someone once told me, "you write like your heart is pen-shaped", I think that suits you better !!

I'll be back for more.
